Industrial Development Incentive Grant - Robeson
County offers an Industrial Development
Incentive Grant to both new and existing
industry for locating or expanding in Robeson
County. There are three grant levels.
Eligibility is based upon capital investment,
new job creation, and wages, utility incentive
grants and land grants.

General Assembly
(House Bill 2170) created a new tax credit
program Article 3J Credit to encourage business
growth in North Carolina.
Research and Development Tax Credit - The credit
is amended to provide an alternative credit
calculation. This brings North Carolina's R & D
in closer conformity to the federal R & D
credit.
Capital Investment - M & E - Provides 7% credit
on total investment and business property.
Businesses that qualify for 3J's Credit would be
eligible for free industrial training programs
that are offered by Robeson Community College.
