Sports

Collegiate sports are regularly played at Fayetteville State University, Methodist College, St. Andrews Presbyterian College, UNC-Pembroke, and UNC Wilmington.  In addition, the region is within an easy drive of many other colleges and universities in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
